History of Group QA

With a heritage spanning more than six decades, Group QA has evolved from a modest agricultural enterprise into a diversified Bangladeshi business conglomerate driven by quality, innovation, integrity, and customer-focused solutions.

The Group’s journey in agriculture began with its flagship business, Auto Equipment, and expanded significantly with the establishment of Abedin Garments Limited in 1983, marking its entry into the readymade garment industry. The Group subsequently strengthened its apparel operations with Kaniz Garments Limited in 1994 and Kaniz Fashions Limited in 1998, building strong capabilities in quality, compliance, and international apparel manufacturing.

In 2004, Auto Crop Care Limited (ACCL) was established with a vision to provide total farm solutions to Bangladesh’s agricultural sector. Today, its portfolio includes herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, micronutrients, and high-performance seeds, complemented by modern farm machinery supplied through Abedin Equipment Limited, including combine harvesters, tractors, and precision planters.

With more than three decades of experience, Abedin Equipment Limited has also established a strong presence in power tools and equipment, automotive spare parts and accessories, fixing systems, construction chemicals, MRO products, and farm machinery, supported by a nationwide dealer network and professional after-sales service.

The Group is continuing its growth in apparel manufacturing through WAQFI KNIT FABRICS LIMITED, currently under construction at Madhabdi, Narsingdi, with a 48-line sewing facility and in-house washing project.

Today, Group QA stands as a multidisciplinary organization with approximately 6,000 employees, serving both local and international markets. Building on its heritage and experience, the Group remains committed to responsible growth, operational excellence, technological advancement, and creating lasting value for its customers, partners, employees, and society.
