In Memory of Our Founder & Chairman
The late Mr. Quazi A.F.M. Zainul Abedin, an Agriculture Graduate of the 1953 batch of Bangladesh Agricultural University, founded Group QA with only two employees in a 150 sq. ft. space. Over more than six decades, his vision and leadership transformed the business into a diversified group employing around 6,000 people.
Group QA operates in crop protection chemicals, agricultural hybrid seeds, automotive spares and accessories, engineering tools and equipment, moisture control, readymade garments, and consumer products.
The Group currently comprises Auto Crop Care Ltd., Abedin Garments Ltd., Kaniz Garments Limited, Kaniz Fashions Limited, Abedin Equipment Ltd., Abedin Agrovet Limited, WAQFI KNIT FABRICS LIMITED (under construction), and Quazi Abedin Welfare Trust.
WAQFI KNIT FABRICS LIMITED, located at Madhabdi, Narsingdi, is being developed with a 48-line sewing facility and an in-house washing project, further expanding Group QA’s presence in the readymade garment sector.
The legacy of the late Mr. Quazi A.F.M. Zainul Abedin continues to guide Group QA toward sustainable growth and greater contribution to the economy and society.
